world's most discerning travelers with an unforgettable vacation experience.

Challenge & Solution
For their content management tools, Grand Expeditions chose a specialty
third party vendor to develop the application components of the
Grand Expeditions online travel service. Our design team was tasked
with the interface to the customer experience. One of the greater
challenges was adjusting our complete experience design process
to include the external vendor. Our team provided information architecture
consulting to ensure that the data structure being designed by the
vendor fit the experience we were designing. The project also provided
great challenges to our new brand design team and a series of interviews
were conducted with each of the partner travel agencies to ensure
their unique brands were faithfully extended into the new web site.
An extensive brand brief laid the foundation for the various experience
design responsibilities that contributed to this successful launch.
Since the site was essentially 7 or 8 sites in one, flexible templates
were critical to maintaining a consistent yet surprising experience.
